In Ukraine from now on The use of certain letters is prohibited on car license plates.

We are talking about the symbols Z and V, which can be associated with war propaganda. How It is known that the letters Z and V are used by Russian occupiers as markings for equipment and symbols of propaganda related to armed aggression.
In connection with this, the Ukrainian government has decided to ban their use on individual vehicle license plates. This is necessary to avoid possible glorification of the aggressor's actions.
So, when ordering an individual license plate, it is prohibited to use the letters Z and V in any form – both separately and as part of words in Cyrillic or Latin. The ban is valid throughout the territory of Ukraine.
