After the full-scale invasion began, millions of Ukrainians stood up to defend their country. Meanwhile, their families faced challenges they were not prepared for — constant stress, worrying about loved ones, waiting for reunions, emotional exhaustion, and the added burden of responsibility for children, writes WomanEL.
How to deal with this? How to maintain emotional balance in war conditions? How to help the families of defenders in your environment? A new project from the national online cinema SWEET.TV — “Surprise for the Family” — will seek answers to these questions. This is the first Ukrainian reality show dedicated to supporting the families of military personnel. The focus is on real stories, candid conversations, and practical solutions that give hope.
The hosts of the reality show will be Daniel Salem, a former showman and current serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who personally knows how difficult it is for a soldier to be far from his family, and psychologist Alina Deineka.
I know from my own experience what it's like not to see your daughter for months, not to know how she's doing, how her day is going. My daughter is far away. Even during vacations, I don't always have the opportunity to come to her. That's why I want to help military families. So that they can be reassured that everything is in order at home, he shares.

Alina Deineka, in turn, emphasizes the importance of support for military wives who have become the support of their families.
For me, military wives are real heroines. Because they were forced to take on all the worries about the family and at the same time become psychological support for a husband who is currently at war. This project is extremely important for such families and everyone who is nearby. Using simple effective techniques, using the example of our heroines, we will show how you can improve your psycho-emotional state, find support within yourself, feel relief and get the necessary positive emotions,
