A group of scientists from Switzerland and Germany found that the egg begins to glow after fertilization.

Experts simulated the process of fertilization on a special computer and were able to find out what happens to a woman’s body in the first 200 nanoseconds.

It turned out that a stream of charged zinc atoms is released from a fertilized egg. They prevent other sperm from penetrating into it. Flashes of light signal how successful the fertilization process has been.

These results provide important new information about the mechanisms of fertilization, which may be useful in combating infertility problems and developing new methods of birth control.

It is especially important to observe this during artificial insemination , scientists say.

Recall that it was previously reported why a person cannot lose weight: scientists have found out which vitamin is missing.
