Forecasters from the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center reported that on Sunday, January 21, the weather in Ukraine will be frosty. Snow is possible in some regions.
They forecast light snow today in most of Ukraine, with the exception of the western regions. There will be icy conditions on the roads.
“The wind is south turning to northwest, 5-10 m/s, in the western regions at night gusts of 15-20 in places m/s. The air temperature during the day will fluctuate between -1…-6°C, in the southern part and Transcarpathia around 0°C. At the same time, -2…-7°C is expected in the Carpathians during the day,” the message says.
Moderate snow is also predicted in Kyiv and the region. In the Kyiv region, the thermometers will show -1…-6°C, and in the capital the temperature will be -1…-3°C.
