Campylobacteriosis — it is an acute zoonotic infectious disease that is transmitted to humans from animals and is often accompanied by severe diarrhea.

Scientists analyzed data from the UK Health Services Agency (UKHSA), which recorded about a million cases of campylobacteriosis over 20 years. Using a mathematical model that takes into account comparative weather data, the researchers found a clear link between disease and climate.

When temperatures were below 8°C, the average number of sick people remained consistently low, but as temperatures rose, disease rates also increased. Additionally, a spike in infection was observed when humidity was between 75 and 80%. After all, longer days (more than 10 hours of sunlight) also increased the number of infections.

All the factors found are usually associated with the climate change that is happening on Earth today.

Remember , previously reported, scientists have found a new form of life: experts have shown what it is (footage).
