«There is no escalation and there will not be in this direction. These statements are completely meaningless. They may sound propaganda, but logistically there is no real way for Russia to reach there», — Podolyak explained.
He also noted that the events currently taking place do not cause alarm in Moldova, Ukraine, or the EU countries.
«Will this have informational consequences? Yes, Russia could use this to its advantage within a few days. These are standard information programs that do not have any real impact on the situation today», — he said.
Thus, it is emphasized that at present the events in Transnistria are not critical and do not have a direct impact on the state of affairs in the region or in the international arena.
