In March of this year, Russian invaders most often stormed settlements southwest of Donetsk.

This information was reported by the UK Ministry of Defense, citing intelligence data, URA-Inform reports.

According to British intelligence, this region accounted for 38% of all attacks by the Russian army. However, the Russians did not make any notable gains in the area.

“The number of reported Russian attacks along the entire front line in March 2024 was 9% lower compared to February 2024, decreasing from approximately 2,340 to 2 120″, — the report said.

British intelligence officers estimated that the number of recorded attacks in the Avdiivka direction amounted to a third of all attacks in February, when the city was captured by Russian troops, but in March it fell to a quarter.

At the same time, the number of registered Russian attacks on the southwest of Donetsk increased from 721 in February to 806 in March, which is 38% of all attacks on the front line.

“Despite these efforts, Russia has not made any significant progress in the area and continues to fight for small settlements, including Novomikhailovka, Georgievka and Urozhainoye,” — concluded in the UK Ministry of Defense.

We recall that it was previously reported that he would persuade the Russian Federation to negotiate: Stoltenberg named the path to ending the war.
