Video materials of the above-mentioned operation were published on the Internet on January 3, the original footage was filmed from an unmanned aerial vehicle of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. It is known that the warehouse, located in the center of the occupied village of Vodyanoye in the south-west of Avdeevka, came under attack.
The direct hit led to a large-scale detonation of ammunition, accompanied by the formation of a huge smoke «mushroom», visible over tens of kilometers.
The exact losses of the Russian Armed Forces as a result of this strike are still being clarified. It is estimated that, judging by the force of the explosion, the warehouse contained a significant amount of shells intended for offensive operations.
It should be noted that the Russian military is conducting an offensive from the north and south, seeking to encircle Avdievka. At the same time, in parallel, Russian forces are attacking from the east, directly attacking the fortified area, while suffering huge losses.
