On Friday, May 10, US President Joe Biden signed a decree allocating another $400 million in military aid to Ukraine.

This information was reported by Politico, URA-Inform reports.

This relief package includes cuts to «DOD defense goods and services and military education and training» in order to provide assistance to Ukraine. The White House website notes that the US Secretary of State received authority from the US President to implement this reduction.

«The package, which will include the transfer of weapons already in U.S. stockpiles, includes new Patriot air defense missiles, Stinger anti-aircraft missiles, Bradley fighting vehicles, mine countermeasures vehicles, Javelin anti-tank systems and other ammunition&#187 ;, — the publication says.

Politico notes that the decision to allocate a new aid package to Ukraine came at a time when Russian troops were advancing on the Kharkov region. This indicates a tough US response to Russian aggression in the region.

We recall that it was previously reported that it is time for Ukrainians to prepare: the Ukrainian Armed Forces told us when the critical phase of the war will begin.
