Political scientist Andrei Piontkovsky named the deadline for ending the war in Ukraine.
Piontkovsky announced this information in an interview, URA-Inform reports.
In his opinion, Washington is considering two ways to save Ukraine. Andrei Piontkovsky expressed hope that US Republicans will recognize the current situation and propose an alternative candidate instead of Donald Trump.
Otherwise, according to Piontkovsky, the only way to save Ukraine from Washington will be to provide support for Ukraine to defeat the Russian Federation before Trump returns to the presidency of the United States.
Answering the question of when US authorities will help Ukraine end the war, a political analyst said this:
«I repeat that two solutions to this Trump problem are being discussed in Washington. First — achieving victory for Ukraine before January 21, 2025, but in reality this should happen earlier, in the summer of this year. And the second — this is the revival of the Reagan wing of the Republican Party, the awareness of this threat will lead to the fact that the entire establishment will finally get involved in the process and Trump will not be nominated from the Republican Party.
At the same time, Piontkovsky emphasized that the scenario of victory for Ukraine is absolutely real. According to him, for this, the United States needs to transfer 100 aircraft and 100 ATACMS missiles to Ukraine.
