On the night of February 15, Russia carried out large-scale shelling on the territory of Ukraine, leaving behind serious destruction in various cities of our country.

Yuriy Ignat, representative of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), emphasized that the air defense managed to successfully destroy 13 out of 26 missiles, including cruise, ballistic and guided aircraft missiles launched by the enemy from the Engels area with the involvement of strategic aviation.

Additionally, two missiles &#171 ;Caliber» were released from a Russian frigate in the Novorossiysk area. Yuriy Ignat also voiced the possible use of North Korean KN-23 missiles, the fragments of which have already been discovered and recorded on the territory of Ukraine. However, the type of missile can be determined 100% after appropriate evidence is found.

«Out of a total of 26 missiles, 13 were destroyed. This result is understandable, because a large number of today’s missiles attacked along a ballistic trajectory,” explained Yuri Ignat.

We recall that it was previously reported that NATO warned Putin about a possible escalation: Stoltenberg sent a clear signal to the dictator.
