Many experts recommend sticking to the «gold» smartphone charging rules, keeping the battery level between 20 and 80 percent.

Most new models automatically stop charging once a full charge is reached, topping up the battery as needed to maintain the level at 100 percent.

However Problems can arise if the battery overheats, which can damage it. To avoid this, experts recommend removing the case when charging overnight and leaving the phone on a flat surface to effectively dissipate heat.

To maintain a lithium-ion battery, it is recommended to keep it charged at 50-80%. Brief charges during the day may be technically the most effective way to keep your phone running for a long time, compared to leaving it on charge overnight, which can wear out the battery faster.
