In Avdiivka, 14 attacks by Russians in the areas of Novobakhmutovka, Stepnoe , Avdeevka and 9 more attacks near Pervomaisky and Nevelsky, Donetsk region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to improve the tactical situation.

In total, the enemy launched six missile and 14 air strikes, and carried out 13 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas.
Instead, the aviation of the Defense Forces attacked 10 areas where personnel were concentrated and 2 enemy control points.
Units of the missile forces hit an air defense facility, 4 artillery weapons, and an electronic radio station struggle and 3 control points of the Russians.
The situation at the front as of 18.00 on January 4 is as follows:
- in the Volyn and Polessk directions the operational situation is without significant changes;
- on Seversky and Slobozhansky about 15 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar attacks, among them Stepok, Popovka, Konstantinovka, Chuikovka in the Sumy region; Udy, Volchansk, Malaya Volcha, Potikhonovo, Kharkov region;
- on KupyanskyThe defense forces repelled 2 enemy attacks near Sinkovka and east of Petropavlovka, Kharkov region. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, in particular, Sinkovka, Tabaevka, Ivanovka, Berestovo in the Kharkov region;
- on Limansky the enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) operations. He fired artillery and mortars at more than 10 settlements, including Belogorivka in the Luhansk region and Yampolevka, Verkhnekamenskoye, Spornoye in the Donetsk region;
- on BakhmutskyThe defense forces repelled 3 attacks near Bogdanovka, Klishchievka and Andreevka in the Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defenses of our troops. More than 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, in particular, Grigorovka, Bogdanovka, Klishchievka, Andreevka in the Donetsk region; among them Novobakhmutovka, Berdich, Stepnoe, Avdeevka, Severnoye, Nevelskoye, Donetsk region/;
- on MaryinskyThe defense forces continue to hold back the occupiers in the areas of Marinka and Novomikhailovka, Donetsk region, where the enemy, with the support of aviation, tried 7 times to break through the defenses of our troops. The enemy also launched an air strike near Georgievka, Donetsk region. Georgievka, Pobeda, Novomikhailovka, Paraskoveevka were under artillery and mortar fire;
- at Shakhterskoethe enemy did not conduct offensive (assault) actions. More than 10 settlements were shelled by artillery and mortars, in particular, Ugledar, Prechistovka, Zolotaya Niva, Staromayorskoye, Donetsk region;
- on ZaporozhyeThe defense forces repelled 7 attacks near Robotinoy and north-west of Verbovaya Zaporozhye region, where the enemy unsuccessfully tried to restore the lost position. More than 15 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling, including Poltavka, Krasnoye, Volshebnoye, Malaya Tokmachka, Robotino, Kamenskoye in the Zaporozhye region;
- in the area of responsibility of the Odessa fire control unit in the Khersondirection of artillery Novovorontsovka, Berislav, Tyaginka, Ivanovka, Novotyaginka, Kherson, Stanislav of the Kherson region and Solonchaki, Ochakov of the Nikolaev region were subjected to enemy shelling. The enemy also carried out an air strike in the area of the village of Zmievka, Kherson region.
In addition, the Russians do not abandon their intention to dislodge our units from the bridgeheads on the left bank of the Dnieper. Yes, during the day the enemy carried out 6 unsuccessful assault operations, but Ukrainian soldiers continue to hold their positions and inflict significant losses on the invaders.
