Russian occupiers of Ukraine. In particular, massive work is being carried out around the temporarily occupied cities of Melitopol, Tokmak, Pologi and Molochansk in the Zaporozhye region.
The mayor of Melitopol Ivan Fedorov announced this during a telethon.
He noted that new objects were recorded using a satellite of the European Space Agency (ESA).
“Just the other day we could see satellite images that recorded the construction of new protective structures. That is the enemy does not stop at what he built (last) spring,” he noted.
In the last months of last year in the Zaporozhye and Donetsk regions, the enemy built tens of kilometers of new trenches and defensive structures.
< p>“For now, they are building new defensive structures around Pologa and Melitopol. And they are doing this in order to slow down and complicate the advance of our Ukrainian military deeper into the temporarily occupied Zaporozhye region,” he said.
Despite then, “victorious” statements of Russian propaganda about supposed successes at the front, the enemy continues to constantly strengthen the cities and routes of the “deep rear.”
“They are building both defensive lines and all-round defenses of cities such as Pologi, Tokmak Molochansk, Melitopol. The enemy is doing this en masse… They continue to build defensive structures from Melitopol towards the Crimea,” says Fedorov.
