The EU has decided to extend sanctions against Russia for another six months. Ugorshchina is ready to give “green light”, since three things will be excluded from the sanction.
This was reported by RBC-Ukraine following a statement from Radio Liberty correspondent Ricard Jozwiak, Bloomberg and the authorities.
According to Bloomberg, the EU issued a written procedure to allow sanctions against the Russian Federation to continue for another six months. Looks like we'll have to wait until tomorrow morning.
It was then, as a result of Budapest, that three individuals were excluded from the list.
Yozwiak informed that the Ugorshchina was ready for the “green light” date even after three of the eight individuals that it asked for the lifting of the sanction will be excluded from the sanction list.
Recently, RBC-Ukraine officials reported that after the evening of the 13th of February, serious progress was made in order to extend the sanctions to Russia, which will end on the 15th of February.
Dzherel, who are close to the negotiation process, indicated that the details of the agreement are still unknown. Looks like they will be recorded tomorrow.
“There may be good news,” said the RBC-Ukraine spivrozmovnik.
Extension of EU sanctions to Russia
Consider the continuation of sanctions against Russia through its invasion of Ukraine as a routine procedure, but after the victory of American President Donald Trump in the elections, Ugorshchina began to block this decision.
Prime Minister of the Ugric region Viktor Orban, who may have pro-Russian views and is an ally of Trump, has created tension around the continuation of sanctions on the cob, hoping to get better.
Once again, Ugorshchina wanted to include everything on the list in order to support the continuation of the sanctions. Recently, Luxembourg has imposed sanctions on the oligarch Mikhail Fridman, but still wants to forfeit the restrictions.
Please note that in order to impose sanctions against the Russian Federation, the uniform support of all 27 member states of the European Union is required.
We remember that earlier today it became clear that the European Union will not impose sanctions against Russia, but the actions will continue.
Moreover, EU spokesman for foreign affairs and security policy Anita Hipper said that Brussels is working on the 17th package of anti-Russian sanctions.
We have already written that the Russian Federation is still actively lobbying for it to be partially sanctioned as part of the firefight to achieve peace in Ukraine.
Now President Trump has threatened Russia with increased sanctions if it does not want to end the war. In this case, according to Bloomberg, Trump supporters are working on a plan to ease sanctions against Russia.
