Naftogaz Ukraine services resumed their work after a large-scale cyber attack
The company reported this on Facebook.
“Our services have resumed operation. All technical problems with the websites and call center have been resolved,” the message says.
It is indicated that the transfer of readings is available as always from 28 to the 5th.
What happened
- On January 25, the gas supply company Naftogaz of Ukraine and Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine LLC recorded a large-scale attack on one of their data centers. The company's websites and call center did not work.
- And earlier, on December 12, the mobile operator Kyivstar was subjected to a powerful hacker attack, which led to a technical failure. The SBU opened criminal proceedings regarding the cyber attack in Kyivstar. One of the versions of the investigation is the involvement of Russian special services.
