The verdict of 35-year-old Alexander Solovy was announced by the panel of judges on February 5. He was found guilty under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code (Treason under martial law).

According to the case materials, the policeman assumed the position of “district police inspector” in the illegally created occupation “police department of the Kharkov region”, he was on duty as part of investigative and operational teams, kept materials from the unified accounting journals, and ensured public order for the occupation authorities. Subsequently, he became the “senior district police officer” for juvenile affairs.
“In addition, the traitor agitated his colleagues to swear allegiance to the aggressor state and work in a pseudo-law enforcement agency,” the prosecutor’s office noted.
