“One of the charitable foundations donated three cars to a military man for further use by his unit on the front line. After receiving the cars, the defendant posted an advertisement for their sale through an online platform. For three cars, he wanted 13.6 thousand US dollars,” the report says.
On February 2, employees of the DBI detained a military man while receiving 13.6 thousand US dollars from a buyer.< /p>
The detainee was reported on suspicion of illegal use for the purpose of making a profit from humanitarian aid (part. 3 tbsp. 201-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The sanction of the article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of up to 7 years.
The issue of choosing a preventive measure and removing a military man from office is also being decided.
