In the Maryinsky direction Defense forces continue to contain the enemy near Georgievka, Pobeda, Novomikhailovka, Donetsk region. Here, the invaders, with the support of aviation, tried 17 times to break through the defenses of our troops.
The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported this.
In total, 50 military clashes took place within 24 hours. The enemy launched missile and 99 air strikes, carried out 82 attacks from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of our troops and populated areas.

The situation at the front as of 18.00 on February 20 is as follows:
- at Volynsk and Polesskiedirections, the operational situation without significant changes;
- on Seversky and SlobozhanskyThe enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Grachevka, Chugunovka, Fedorovka, Ekaterinivka, Kharkov region. More than 30 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling, including Khrinovka, Klyusy in the Chernihiv region; Staraya Guta, Kucherivka, Novaya Sloboda, Volfin, Miropolye, Stepok, Popovka, Sumy region; Udy, Cossack Lopan, Strelka, Pletenevka, Budarki, Ambarne, Stroevka, Kharkov region;
- on Kupyansky the Russians made 2 unsuccessful attempts to attack near Sinkovka, Kharkov region. Air strikes were carried out in the areas of the settlements of Shevchenkovo, Ivanovka, Glushkovka, Peschanoye, Kharkov region. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Dveletnaya, Masyutovka, Sinkovka, Petropavlovka, Ivanovka, Berestovo in the Kharkov region;
- on Limanskyour soldiers repelled 3 attacks near Belogorivka, Lugansk region and Ternov, Vyemka, Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to break through the defenses of our troops. The enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Belogorovka, Luhansk region and Veseloye, Razdolovka, Donetsk region. More than 10 settlements were damaged by artillery and mortar shelling, including Karmazinovka, Nevskoye, Belogorovka in the Luhansk region and Terny, Torskoye, Serebryanka, Verkhnekamennoye, Spornoye in the Donetsk region;
- on Bakhmutskyrepelled 2 attacks near Ivanovo, Donetsk region, where the enemy tried to improve the tactical situation. About 10 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Vasyukivka, Verolubovka, Chasov Yar, Ivanovskoye, Belaya Gora, New York, Donetsk region;
- on Avdeevskyrepelled 10 enemy attacks in the Stepnoy, Lastochkino, Severny, Nevelskoye areas of the Donetsk region. The enemy carried out air strikes near the settlements of Alexandropol, Ocheretino, Orlovka, Lastochkino, Tonechko, Donetsk region. About 15 settlements were shelled by artillery and mortars, including Ocheretino, Novobakhmutovka, Tonechko, Karlovka, Netaylovo, Pervomaiskoye, Nevelskoye in the Donetsk region;
- at Marinsky under artillery and mortar fire from the occupiers turned out to be Krasnogorovka, Kurakhovo, Ekaterinovka, Elizavetovka;
- at NovopavlovskyThe enemy unsuccessfully tried 6 times to improve its tactical position south of Prechistovo and Zolotaya Niva, Donetsk region. The enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Vodyanoye and Staromayorskoye, Donetsk region. Fired artillery and mortars at about 10 settlements, among them Vodyanoye, Ugledar, Prechistovka, Blagodatnoye, Staromayorskoye, Rovnopol, Donetsk region;
- in Zaporozhye repelled 2 enemy attacks near Malaya Tokmachka and Work in Zaporozhye region. The enemy carried out air strikes in the areas of the settlements of Malaya Tokmachka and Robotino, Zaporozhye region. More than 20 settlements were subjected to artillery and mortar shelling, including Levadne, Poltavka, Gulyaypole, Zheleznodorozhnoe, Novoandreevka, Malye Shcherbaki in the Zaporozhye region;
- in the area of responsibility of the OVSU “Odessa” in Kherson direction, the Russians made one attempt to storm the positions of our troops. Kherson, Ponyatovka, Belozerka, Huge, Stanislav of the Kherson region and Ochakov of the Nikolaev region were subjected to artillery and mortar attacks.
