On April 7, at the capital’s funicular station, a conflict arose between a man who serves as a driver in the State Security Department and a minor. After exiting the carriage at the upper station, the policeman pushed the teenager. He fell and smashed the glass with his head, receiving a fatal cut to his neck. The minor died at the scene.
“The detained law enforcement officer has already been removed from his duties. His command is providing full assistance in carrying out urgent investigative actions,” the DBI emphasized.
Currently The entire range of operational investigative actions is being carried out, the issue of announcing suspicion to a detained law enforcement officer on suspicion of premeditated murder (Part 1 of Article 115 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) is being resolved.
