The American State Assembly supported the decision to establish a partnership with the Lviv region.

Chairman of the Lviv Regional Military Administration Maxim Kozitsky in Telegram reported that from today the region has official sister-city relations with the American state of California.
According to the official, back in January the California Senate made a corresponding decision, and now it was supported by the lower house of the state legislature – the assembly. Of the 80 deputies, 69 were in favor.
Twinning will help establish cooperation between the Lviv region and California in the fields of economics, education, science and culture.
Kozitsky thanked American politicians, as well as representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora, who worked to implement this decision.
For Ukraine and the United States, this is the second case of twinning of regions: in March, the Kiev region established. that kind of relationship with Washington State.
