The Russians cannot defeat the Airborne Assault Troops (AAT) on the battlefield, so they are increasing psychological pressure on the AAT personnel in order to reduce their combat effectiveness.
This was reported by the press service of the AAT.
“Information is being disseminated on certain information resources about allegedly existing plans to reorganize the AAT brigades into assault brigades of the Ground Forces and to liquidate the AAT as a separate branch of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the report says.

The press service of the AAT emphasized that they remain an integral and independent component of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and will continue to develop as a separate branch of the armed forces.
This is precisely what is enshrined in the Vision of the Airborne Assault Troops and the Strategy for the Development of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine until 2035.
