Tandyr remains in custody until October 21.
Tandyr in the hall of the Svyatoshinsky District Court, on December 20, the action of the preventive measure against the former judge, accused of committing a fatal accident while intoxicated, during which a National Guardsman died.
This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office. “By court order, the preventive measure in the form of detention without bail has been extended until October 21, 2024 inclusive,” the statement reads.
- The chairman of the Makarovsky District Court, Tandyr, is suspected of having hit and killed 23-year-old NGU conscript Vadim Bondarenko at a checkpoint in Kiev on the night of May 26.
- The accident occurred at the beginning of the curfew, when the National Guard was setting up a roadblock. The judge tried to convince him that he was not the driver, but the driver who had fled into the bushes.
- Later, the court granted the prosecutor's office's motion and granted permission to forcibly seize biological samples from the judge. The Supreme Council of Justice has authorized Tandyr's detention, where he will remain until July 21. >
