An inclusive town for veterans. Today, the keys to their new homes were handed over to 45 military personnel who were seriously injured during the fighting.
This was announced by the head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration Ruslan Kravchenko.
The project was implemented in 9 months. According to Kravchenko, not a penny from the regional or state budget was used.
There are currently 59 houses in the complex, each 75-80 square meters. The housing and land, which is 4-5 acres, will become the property of our defenders and their families. Benefactors will also help make repairs in the houses, install kitchen furniture and equip bathrooms. Everything is done taking into account the needs of veterans and for their comfort. The houses have spacious terraces, there is water, electricity, gas, sewage. Sidewalks and driveways are arranged so that its residents can easily move around the city. There is a recreation area, a park, sports and children's playgrounds, barbecue areas, a post office, and a shelter is being completed. An outpatient clinic and a store will also be built there.
Defenders from various military units, as well as the families of the deceased, will also live here. For its part, KOVA focused on the sponsored brigades: 72 OMBR, 114 TRO, 3rd assault, GUR. and can no longer serve, have a family and do not have their own housing. KOVA takes on the registration of children in the nearest kindergartens and schools. Kravchenko noted.
He emphasized that such towns should be in each region. Therefore, work continues on finding benefactors and expanding such projects.
Recall that two veteran hubs were previously opened in the Kyiv region.
