President Zelensky ordered an investigation into all the circumstances of the tragedy, stating that the Russian bastard will answer for the attack.
“The time interval between the alarm and the arrival of the deadly missile was so short that it caught people at the moment of evacuation to a bomb shelter,” the Ukrainian Defense Ministry noted. “One of the institute buildings was partially destroyed, many were under the rubble. Thanks to the coordinated work of rescuers and doctors, 25 people were saved, 11 of whom were released from under the rubble.”
The removal of rubble at the site of the attack continues. According to the Minister of Internal Affairs, residential buildings were damaged near the impact site.

On the evening of September 3, Russian military forces launched an air strike on the building of one of the universities in Sumy.
According to preliminary information, the Russians used KAB for the strike.
“All necessary services are working at the site. The consequences of the enemy attack are being clarified,” the OVA reported, calling on people not to ignore the air raid sirens. The Verkhovna Rada received resignation letters from three ministers, as well as the head of the State Property Fund, said Speaker of the Parliament Ruslan Stefanchuk.
He specified that resignation statements were received from Minister for Strategic Industries Alexander Kamyshin, Minister of Justice Denis Maliuska and Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources Ruslan Strelets. A resignation statement was also received from Chairman of the State Property Fund Vitaly Koval. The parliament also received a resignation statement from Deputy Prime Minister Olga Stefanishyna. Sources say that the Deputy Prime Minister will take over the functions of Minister of Justice Denis Maliuska.
Deputy Prime Minister Irina Vereshchuk also reported that she had submitted a resignation statement.

Swimmer Yuriy Shengur won “gold” in swimming at a distance of 100 meters on the back in class S7 (swimmers with minor or moderate movement disorders in the arms, trunk and legs, with growth disorders or missing limbs). In addition, Andrey Trusov won “silver” in the same competition.
So far, the Ukrainian Paralympic team is in 7th place in the medal standings, having won 45 awards (9 gold, 15 silver, 21 bronze).
