The defenders shot down 78 drones, 23 were lost in location, and one flew to Belarus.
The Russian army struck Ukraine with 105 Shahed-type attack UAVs last night. The enemy launched them from the Russian regions of Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk, and Mys Chauda (occupied Crimea).
The defenders shot down 78 drones, one flew in the direction of Belarus, and another 23 were lost in location in different regions. Probably through electronic warfare, the Air Force reported on Telegram.
“The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine,” the PS noted.
Air defense operated in Kyiv, Cherkasy, Vinnytsia, Khmelnytskyi, Kirovograd, Zhytomyr, Poltava, Chernihiv, Kherson, Odessa, Kharkiv, Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Rivne and Ivano-Frankivsk regions.
- Explosions were heard last night, in particular, in Kyiv. According to KMV, defenders shot down about 15 drones over the city and on the approaches to it.
