Since August 8, 2024, military personnel have submitted more than 10,000 electronic reports in the Army+ app.
Interfax-Ukraine reports this with reference to the Defense Ministry.
“The number of submitted reports is growing daily by 150-200. And this is a very good indicator, since more and more military personnel are experiencing the benefits of electronic reports, which are not lost and are created quickly and without errors, unlike paper ones,” said Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization Ekaterina Chernogorenko.
The Ministry of Defense noted that more than 1,000 military units have already implemented the application.
About 4 thousand electronic reports have already been processed in the electronic document management system (SEDO) and have received approval or been rejected with an indication of the reason. Every fourth report already processed through “Army+” belongs to the airborne assault troops (AAT), which are the leaders in this process.
Currently, “Army+” has 11 types of reports, divided into four categories (vacation, issuance of a referral, referral and assistance). New ones will appear in the application soon.
The Ministry of Defense noted that the “Army+” application is protected and safe. Personal data is not stored on the mobile device, but is retrieved from external registries. The application's capabilities are deployed in the cloud infrastructure. The infrastructure and the application itself have a certificate of a comprehensive information security system (SISS) and are connected to the cyber incident response monitoring system.
- On August 8, Ukraine presented the mobile application for Ukrainian military personnel “Army+”. It launched 11 of the most popular reports. An electronic report has the same legal force as a paper one.
- The Ministry of Defense also published a video instruction on authorization in the Army+ application.
- On June 20, the Ministry of Defense launched the Army+ chatbot in Telegram. Military personnel, those liable for military service, and their family members can get advice there.
