The Minister also called on partners to speed up the provision of assistance to our country.
Rustem Umerov
took part in the G7 meeting at defense minister level in Naples (Italy).
According to him, the meeting discussed the development of the defense industry of Ukraine, Europe and the world.
Umerov invited partners to invest in the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex. “The opening of production facilities in Ukraine will speed up the supply of weapons and ammunition,” the Defense Minister emphasized.
The situation at the front and the victory plan were also discussed. Umerov called on allies to speed up the delivery of promised aid and noted the need for active participation in training and staffing brigades.

- The day before, Volodymyr Zelensky announced that Ukraine had agreed with the United States that it would receive aid very quickly – once every two to three weeks.
