<p>Fighters of the “Russian Volunteer Corps” drove Russians out of the Volchansk aggregate plant and drove them out of there in September 2024.</p>
<p>This was told to journalists in the new video project “Ukrainian Witness” by the RDK fighters with the call signs “Persian” and “Hunt”. Previously, “Persian” fought as part of the Russian “Storm Z”, and later went over to the side of Ukraine, “Hunt” walked from Belgorod to Kharkov, overcoming the fence on the border between the states, in order to fight for Ukraine. /p> </p>
<p>“I thought they would shoot me. I said: better give me explosives, I'll get on a bus and fly to some Russian checkpoint. They told me – can you do it? I said – I can,” the fighter says. </p>

  • The territory of the aggregate plant was transferred under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine after clearing all 30 buildings of the facility.
  • During the GUR operation to clear the Volchansk Aggregate Plant, Russian commanders forced their soldiers to put up hopeless resistance, dooming them to death.
  • The next day after the liberation of the plant, about two dozen occupiers were taken prisoner.
  • The head of the GUR of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Kirill Budanov, was present at the key stage of the dismissal of the Volchansk Aggregate Plant.
