The aggressor country is attacking the city primarily from positions above Tokmak and Molochansk.
Russians hit Zaporizhia
Since September 20, when intensive shelling of Zaporizhia began, more than 1,000 houses have been destroyed or damaged.
This was reported by the head of the Zaporizhia OVA Ivan Fedorov.
The aggressor attacks the city with dozens of KABs every week, striking from a distance of about 70-80 km, mainly from positions above Tokmak and Molochansky.
Fedorov added that after the latest shelling, about 130 houses were damaged or completely destroyed. Utility workers are installing new windows and repairing roofs so that residents can return home as quickly as possible.
The victims are being offered temporary housing in shelters and dormitories.
The head of the OVA once again reminded of the need for timely assistance from partners, in particular, modern air defense systems of American and European manufacture.
“Civilians remain the main victims of Russian attacks, and only strengthening the protection of the sky can radically change the situation,” Fedorov emphasized.
- Recently, the enemy launched a massive attack on Zaporizhia, hitting houses and a hospital. 10 people were killed, including a one-year-old child.
