During investigative and search activities, law enforcement officers established that a previously convicted 37-year-old resident of the region was involved in the terrorist attack.
As reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General, according to the investigation, on December 14, 2024, at 14:45 in one of the districts of Dnipro, near the administrative building, an improvised explosive device exploded.
As a result of the terrorist attack, a man was killed. Another man and two police officers who were on duty at the time were seriously injured. Residential buildings nearby were damaged.
Now the suspect has been taken to the police station. Searches are ongoing at the place of residence of the detainee, all necessary investigative actions are being carried out.
The issue of choosing a preventive measure for the suspect and announcing him as a suspect under Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (terrorist act) is being decided.
