At the village of Tsirkuni, located on the outskirts of Kharkov, through yesterday Russian shelling and injuries. The population of the village recognized the attacks from the side of the gate due to the stagnation of the artillery formation.
RBC-Ukraine reports this in a letter to the head of the Kharkiv Municipal Military Forces administration of Oleg Sinegubov.
“As a result of the hostile shelling of Tsirkuny, many people were injured,” the official said.
Before that, data appeared about the attacks on Tsirkuny around 22.50 the previous evening, 18 breasts.
Todi in the OVA noted that, according to previous data, Russian fire fighters, during the hour of attacks, attacked this village with artillery.
What we know about Tsirkuni
The village of Tsirkuni is located near the Kharkov region on the banks of the Kharkiv River. Its population is about 2 thousand locals.
Tsirkuni survived the Russian occupation – the Zagarbniki took control of the village on the 24th of 2022, the first day of a large-scale invasion of Ukraine. It became a stronghold for tank attacks on Kharkiv and artillery shelling in the Pivnichna Saltivka area.
The village was liberated by Ukrainian soldiers during the Kharkiv counter-attack on May 7, 2022. Meanwhile, the Russian shelling of Circuns continued even longer.
