The state of Norway has recognized a dozen regions of Ukraine as safe. From now on, the people who live there will not be able to reject the collective protection of Norway.

Since the 13th, Norway has respected Cherkaska, Chernivetska, Ivano-Frankivska, Khmelnytska, Kirovogradska, Kievska (region, not place), Lvivska, Poltavska, Rivnenska, Ternopilska, Vinnytsia, Volynsk, Transcarpathian and Zhytomyr regions.
If the person applying for protection from Norway lived in a “safe” region, the application will be considered individually. Please note that the criteria for the exclusion of individual protection in Norway are far superior to those for collective protection.
