Weather in Ukraine on January 23: fog, humidity and prospects for warming

On January 23, mist, thick fog, and periodic precipitation will prevail in Ukraine. Forecaster Natalka Didenko predicts difficult weather conditions with low visibility on the roads, so drivers should be careful, keep their distance, and be sure to turn on their headlights, writes IZ.

Precipitation in the form of wet snow and rain will cover most regions. The exception will be the western regions, where it will be limited to only dense cloudiness, although wet snow and high humidity cannot be avoided in Transcarpathia and the Carpathians.

The temperature in Ukraine will fluctuate around zero next night, with -1…-4°C expected in the eastern regions. During the day, the thermometer will rise to +1…+4°C, in the southern regions and in places in the west – to +3…+7°C.

The capital is forecast to have wet snow, thick fog, and daytime temperatures of 0…+2°C.

Despite the January dampness, there is good news: significant warming is forecast from January 25 to 30. In most of Ukraine, the temperature will reach +4…+9°C, and in the south, even spring +7…+13°C are possible.

However, the accuracy of forecasts for periods of more than three days requires clarification. So stay tuned for updates, because the weather can bring surprises.

For now, dress warmly, take care on the roads, and enjoy the winter atmosphere, whatever it may be!
