Trump wants to shorten the military contingent from Europe and get paid, – ANSA

US President Donald Trump wants to reduce the American military contingent in Europe by 20%. In addition, Europe may make contributions to pay for the flight.

RBC-Ukraine reports this from the Italian agency ANSA.

As it turns out, Trump has not yet plans for a hasty exit from Europe and Ukraine, the Europeans will have to earn more for their own security.

As the European diplomatic corps stated, Trump, in essence, wants to “cut short the US contingent on the heel part” – approximately 20 Thousands of people – and we may want to ask for a “financial contribution” for the morning decision of the military that has been lost across the entire Atlantic.

“Trump’s argument lies in the fact that the dark dawn of the war is especially streaming, and therefore their expenses cannot be borne by American tax payers alone,” Dzherelo said.

As Dzherelo said, Trump, It seems that they have decided not to be seen in Ukraine, so it will be regarded as “another Kabul”. “We don’t want such a scenario to be associated with us,” the diplomat explains. The US President, however, insists that the Europeans “take on the financial burden” of Ukraine, since Trump respects this, in essence, as a “European problem.”

Yak means ANSA, while speaking in advance, Yak sum becomes rakhunika before payment. Trump has turned to approximately 5% of GDP as the new NATO standard. However, for Europe, this meta is too great.

The head of EU diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, during her speech at the European Defense Agency (EDA), said that the EU's foreign policy in total spent an average of 1.9%, and Russia – 9%. Commissioner of Defense Andrius Kubilius pishov further. “Lithuania is likely to see 5-6% on defense: I’m Lithuanian and I can get ahead of that, but I think what we need,” he commented.

Guess what, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte stated that the alliance could invest more in defense, increase the production of defense industries and take on a larger share of spending on aid to Ukraine. In his words, “since the new Trump administration is ready to continue to supply Ukraine with the help of its defense-industrial base, then the Europeans will pay for it, in which I am absolutely in agreement, we are ready to make money.”
