President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has already commented on the personnel scandal at the Ministry of Defense, ties with the Agency of Defense Procurement. Behind his words, Minister Rustem Umerov has the right to praise any decisions for the uninterrupted delivery of the Armed Forces.
RBC-Ukraine reported this in his interview with the Associated Press.
“We have a Minister of Defense who clearly understands that pauses in the development of our army – from drones to PPO – will not only waste the military, but will waste the civilian population, there will be more strikes. We cannot work on a daily pause in supplies,” Zelensky’s leader commented on the appearance of the scandal in the eyes of his partners.
In his words, Umerov has the right to work on everything so that there is no interruption Postachanni. There are especially institutional problems with the signing of contracts and signals about a decrease in support for the ZSU, leaving “there can be no pause in term decisions.”
Zelensky support that most of the funding is focused on purchases for the army.

Scandal at the Ministry of Defense
Last year, the Naglyadova Rada of the Defense Procurement Agency agreed to extend the contract with director Marina Bezrukova. However, Minister Rustem Umerov stated that Bezrukova’s contract would not be continued, and her replacement, AHO, would immediately be dismissed by Arsen Zhumadilov (also director of the State Operator Tilu State Enterprise.

Over the course of this period, the personnel scandal was accompanied by confusion in the Unified State Register, in which the Agency’s staff was changed several times. the ministry remains stated that the contract with Marina Bezrukova will not be continued.
