Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda respects the need for the United States and Ukraine to come to the negotiating table. And behind him are the present leaders of European countries.
This is reported by RBC-Ukraine, which was sent to Nausedi’s social network.
Before the meeting in London, Nausėda met with Prime Minister of Great Britain Keir Starmer and representatives of two more Baltic powers – Estonia and Latvia. The President of Lithuania shared his bags with the social media.
“We are obliged to report to everyone in order to preserve the international transatlantic connection. The United States and Ukraine are obliged to turn to the negotiating table together with the Europeans,” Nauseda said.
The President of Lithuania also supported the words of the Prime Minister of Poland Donald Tusk regarding the priority of a similar flank of NATO.
“Security for NATO’s supporting flank is a priority. Security for peace in Europe is a possible element of security guarantees for Ukraine,” Nauseda concluded.
Apparently, at the briefing before the trip to London, Tusk pointed out the need to strengthen the similar flank of the Atlantic Alliance. It is clear that they will call for more European troops in Finland, the Baltic countries and Poland.
“Think about how it sounds: 500 million Europeans are asking 300 million Americans to kidnap them from 130 million Russians,” Tusk said.
