This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense. </p> <p>The signing of the agreements took place during the working trip of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky to the Khmelnitsky region.</p. > <p>“Contracts with Ukrainian defense industry enterprises are a strengthening of the country’s security. The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine will continue to adhere to the priority of supporting domestic arms manufacturers,” noted Deputy Minister of Defense Dmitry Klimenkov.</p> <p>“70% of the amount of all agreements that the Defense Procurement Agency concluded in 2024 falls specifically on domestic manufacturers of weapons, ammunition and military equipment. In some areas, for example, UAVs, we allocated almost 100% of the funds for contracting with them,” emphasized the director of the Defense Procurement Agency Marina Bezrukova.</p> <p>The Ministry of Defense also reported that it continues active cooperation with the Ministry of Strategic Industries of Ukraine.</p> <ul> <li>At the end of April, President Zelensky said that Ukraine can produce more weapons than has its own funds for this.
