At night, air defense forces destroyed 17 of the 20 Russian attack drones that attacked Ukraine.
This was announced by the commander of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Nikolai Oleshchuk.
“On the night of On May 9, 2024, the enemy attacked with 20 attack UAVs of the “Shahed-131/136” type from Cape Chauda – Crimea,” he wrote in Telegram.
It is noted that as a result of combat work by anti-aircraft missile units of the Air Force Forces and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces destroyed 17 attack UAVs in the Odessa region.
