In two years of a full-scale war in Ukraine, the Security Service destroyed the fleet and sold two special operations to undermine the Crimean bridge from land and sea. Both operations were successful.
The first was carried out in October 2022. The bridge was blown up using a truck with explosives hidden in rolls of cellophane film, the press service recalled data from the head of the SBU Vasily Malysh on the occasion of the 32nd anniversary from the day the special service was created.
Preparation for this operation lasted more than six months.
The second special operation took place in July 2023, and since then the bridge of the occupiers is no longer fully suitable for transporting weapons.
In general, since the beginning of a full-scale war, SBU soldiers have destroyed more than 800 tanks and almost 1,300 infantry fighting vehicles, more than 600 artillery systems, more than 400 electronic warfare and air defense systems.
LB.ua sources also reported that since the beginning of this year, SBU drones have been actively attacking enemy oil refineries, which provide fuel to the occupying army. Already 13 enemy refineries have been damaged.
