The State Department statement calls for those responsible for the abduction of Ukrainians to be brought to justice.
The United States has joined the International Coalition for the Return of Those Abducted by Russia. The US State Department published a corresponding statement on its website.
The country joined the joint declaration, the text of which was previously approved by Ukraine and Canada. The United States will demand the safe return of all Ukrainian children illegally deported or forcibly transported to Russia.
The United States also supports the prosecution of all persons involved in the removal of children from Ukraine and supports the fourth point of the Peace Formula proposed Vladimir Zelensky and the “Bring Kids Back UA” plan.
