According to recent studies, at least 6 million of our fellow citizens are still abroad as a result of the Russian invasion, and from 1.3 million to 3.3 million may remain in other countries forever, which depends on the optimistic or pessimistic development of the situation in Ukraine.

About the fact that more than 50 percent of the citizens of our country, who took refuge from the horrors of war in other countries, have already gone back to Ukraine, but it seems that not all refugees intend to carry out such actions, writes NBN, referring to the results of a study conducted by VoxUkraine and published in the official Telegram channel of the Ministry for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories.
As it became known, in the period from July to August last year, 63 percent of those who had previously traveled abroad returned to Ukraine. In addition, 64% of citizens who remained outside Ukraine have already stated that they plan to return home. At the same time, about 50 percent will take such a step only after the end of hostilities.
It should be noted that 27 percent of respondents answered affirmatively to the question whether they were ready to return even during the war, if for this will create proper security conditions, and, first of all, will provide housing and work.
Previously, we wrote that the Ukrainian Embassy in Poland clarified information about extending the temporary protection of refugees in this neighboring state.
