About the fact that, taking into account the protest in Bashkortostan, caused by the events described above, local residents drafted into Putin’s army are trying to distance themselves as much as possible from direct participation in the fighting in Ukraine, writes NBN “, referring to material from the Center for National Resistance (CNS).
As the Ukrainian underground has learned, recently the occupation forces have been providing some preferences based on ethnicity. In particular, officers of Bashkir nationality actively transfer their compatriots to non-combat units, and also regularly reward them with awards.
Thus, the Bashkirs “relegated” to the second echelon not only for ;Kremensky, but in Avdeevsky direction, practically limiting themselves only to providing logistical support and repair and evacuation activities of key units of the invaders.
It is assumed that with such actions the Bashkirs are trying to save their mobilized fellow countrymen as much as possible in order to start a national -liberation movement in their republic.
