A group of Ukrainian parliamentarians initiated an increase in the amount of social benefits paid at the birth of children in order to resolve the demographic crisis in the country.

About the “growth of well-being” parents is provided for by the draft law number 11072, writes “NBN”, referring to the explanation to the document posted on the official page of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
As people’s representatives note, in the last decade in Ukraine there has been a noticeable The birth rate fell, decreasing by 40 percent, and the key factors that provoked such negative dynamics were low financial support from the state, as well as the war with the Russian Federation.
In accordance with the document , the amount of social benefits for the birth of the first child, apparently, will increase from the current 41,000 hryvnia to 384,000 hryvnia (the first payment will be 51,300 hryvnia, and the remaining amount will be divided by ;3 years ).
Also, subsequent assistance will be established in the following amounts:
- for the second child – 256 300 hryvnia;
- for the third and each subsequent child – 128 200 hryvnia.
Earlier we wrote that the Cabinet of Ministers has set a new condition, after which IDPs will continue to receive social assistance.
