On the evening of March 22, ex-President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev, in his Telegram channel, “subtly hinted” that the terrorist attack in Krasnogorsk near Moscow, in which more than 90 people died, could be organized by Ukraine, and this Russian propaganda tried to confirm the dubious “message.”

About the fact that the day before, the “mouthpieces of the Kremlin” from the NTV television channel actually published a deepfake video (imitation of a real person using artificial intelligence) with the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Alexey Danilov, which the Russians tried to convince in advance. ;— it was Kiev that was allegedly involved in the terrorist attack on March 22, writes NBN, citing the Telegram channel of the Center for Combating Disinformation (CPD).
As it became known, to create the fake video fragment described above, propaganda of the Russian Federation used footage from the national telethon on March 16, where they simply replaced the image of the guest, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense Kirill Budanov with Alexey Danilov.
Follows It should be noted that the image on the deepfake video is of very low quality, since its artificiality is noticeable from the first second of study—Danilov’s facial expressions and statements are practically not synchronized.
