The Meduza article says that the Russian Armed Forces do not have the strength to make deeper breakthroughs through Ukrainian territory, so Moscow wants to capture Kharkov and then end the war, NBN reports.
The head of the OVA Oleg Sinegubov commented on the statements of Russian media in his Telegram channel. The official recalled that in 761 days, Putin’s army did not capture a single large city in our country, in particular Kharkov.
According to the head of the administration, Ukrainians have been hearing for three years that the Kremlin dictator wants to occupy the regional center . However, the invading troops were unable to defeat the Kharkov residents either in 2022 or 2023, nor were they able to maintain positions in the populated areas of the region.
Sinegubov added that the “second army of the world” resorts to medieval tactics, firing at what cannot be captured in battle. Therefore, the crazy fantasies of Russians are accompanied by daily attacks on civilians.
The head of the OVA emphasized that Ukraine has a fair response to such statements, which defenders show every day at the front.
