On Wednesday, April 10, the speaker of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmitry Pletenchuk, reported on his Facebook page that a Ka-27 helicopter of the Russian Federation troops was “removed” from the temporarily occupied Crimea, NBN reports.
“I was looking for something. Found”, the press secretary commented on the destruction of the Russian helicopter on the peninsula, without providing details of its liquidation.
Traditionally, the Russian side is silent about the loss of the helicopter, the cost of which is estimated at $1.5 million.
The Crimean Wind Telegram channel clarified that Putin’s occupation forces in Crimea are using the Ka-27 to search for naval drones and landing boats of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. These helicopters are based at the Kacha military airfield.
Recall that in March, an Mi-8 helicopter from the Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country fell on the territory of the Belgorod region. The details of the incident were revealed on the Internet.
