The Polish leader in an interview with LRT called the situation in the neighboring country very difficult. He recalled that Kyiv intends to regain full control over the territories temporarily seized by the Russians, NBN reports.
Duda stressed that the return of the temporarily occupied regions is important for the whole world, as this will mean the application of international law.
The politician claims that in the international arena he has always said that the neighboring state needs constant and endless help, in particular now it most needs ammunition.
The Polish leader, speaking about potential dialogue Ukraine with the Russian Federation and possible concessions from Kiev, said that he had not heard any talk about peace negotiations.
The President emphasized that the Ukrainian leader took a tough position regarding the defense and de-occupation of territories, so the allies must do everything to return the occupied regions.
Earlier, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski reproached Speaker of the US House of Representatives Mike Johnson for delaying the decision on extending support for Ukraine.
