About the fact that soon the parliamentary committee on freedom of speech will consider a request from more than 150 journalists who demanded the removal of the head of the communications department of OK South Natalia Gumenyuk, writes NBN, referring to the Facebook profile of the head of the specified structure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (VRU) Yaroslav Yurchyshyn.
According to Yurchyshyn , at the next meeting of the committee, he intends to invite the people’s representatives to contact the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on this issue. In addition, the people's deputy separately emphasized that the safety of the defenders of Ukraine is a key priority, but in the country it is necessary to speak correctly about the current war, otherwise Russian propaganda will do this, whitewashing the crimes of Putin’s army in the southern direction.
The head of the committee on freedom of speech summarized:
If we don’t talk about the war, the enemy will tell the world about it. And the presentation of information will definitely not be in our favor.
