As reported by NBN with reference to the Institute for the Study of War (ISW), the “second army of the world” feels a shortage of manpower and armored vehicles to support rapid advancement, for example, in the Toretsk and Donetsk sectors of the front, and for this reason, it consistently puts pressure on all directions, trying to prevent the Defense Forces from seizing the initiative on the battlefield.
According to ISW analysts, the deployment of a defense zone around the Central Group of Troops of the Russian Federation indicates that the Russian generals assess the possibility of an operational tactical advance in the Pokrovsk-Avdeevka direction as unlikely.
In particular, the specified formation of Putin's army, judging by everything, lacks the resources required to intensify the offensive in the Avdeevka area to a level that would facilitate a relatively rapid achievement of goals while maintaining optimal pressure on the Toretsk and Donetsk directions.
In addition, the tasks of the Central Group of Troops of the Russian Federation include carrying out a phased offensive campaign in the extended front line, which excludes the possibility of gaining significant tactical advantages through rapid maneuvering in the short term.
